2nd Dose Grant Program

CPP member practices can earn an educational grant up to $1,000! It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3…

The CPP 2nd Dose Program provides an opportunity to examine your practice’s 2nd dose immunization rates for vaccines that require more than one dose to complete the series, access resources to help implement a strategy in your office to raise those rates and share successful strategies with other CPP members. Applicable vaccines include COVID-19, meningococcal ACWY, HPV and/or adult hepatitis B (Heplisav-B only).

Participants in the initial round of grants demonstrated an overall improvement in HPV 2nd dose immunization rates of 29% over an average of 9 months!

Applicants must be an actively purchasing member of the CPP program for at least 6-months to be eligible for the grant opportunity. Multi-site groups or networks must submit grant applications separately.

Members can apply for another grant if it has been at least 2 years since they received the $1,000 maximum grant payout and the proposed intervention is separately identifiable from previous submissions.

For any questions, please contact the CPP office at CPP@nationwidechildrens.org or 877-277-9330.

“Having to think of strategies to promote our immunizations…is not nearly as intimidating or time-consuming as I had originally thought it might be. Even small efforts result in higher rates.”

“The CPP 2nd Dose Program was well worth the extra staff and physician effort needed to improve care for our patients. Not only did it get us to take a closer look at our current vaccination rates. It also became a proof of concept as we discovered that with some effort we could improve on those rates. As such, we decided to use the CPP grant money to further bolster up our adolescent recall program and continue to positively impact our immunization rates. All in just a few short months!”
